Failing that there are loads on the Bay of e. Make sure you get one from a reputable trader though who states categorically that all functions work. Then you have comeback if they don't.

Well done page06. Pleased to be of help. It is always worth having a go at cleaning up your own COM2000 before going to the expense of buying a new one.

The front end panels all went very quickly I'm afraid. The only outer panel I have left is the passenger door, sorry. You'll have to either try eBay, or I recommend pug206ccspares in Cheshire (pug206ccspares@hotmail.com).

Sorry, no. The back axle went complete with everything except for the wheels.

With the usual glut of "first time use this year prompting discovery of roof problems", it's worth mentioning this here before I (and others) potentially waste time and money on eBay:

I still have a nearly complete roof assembly available in KMF blue. It has all of the microswitches, wiring, hydraulic rams, pipework, headlining, decent seals and an intact rear window. In fact the only thing that's missing is the pump because that was sold separately.

I'm looking for £50 for it, but it would need to be collected.

I also have a roof ECU which came off the same car, and worked fine before it was removed. That's £25 which includes P&P.

Send me a PM if interested (or post below and I'll hopefully pick up on it next time I log in).

Hi

I've just found this site as I am now the owner of my mum's 206CC now that she's passed away. It's a 2002 model with less than 20,000 on the clock!! :yikes:

Anyway, I was wondering if you have the passenger side plastic bit that attaches to the front of the rear window - as the passenger window/door doesn't close properly, the plastic is now ripped.

I'm also after the metal work that surrounds the automatic gear lever.

Do you think, in your experience, that I'll also need something to fix the issue that my passenger door doesn't unlock when using the key fob nor sometimes pulling the lock knob up...

Thanks :big-grin:

Sorry about your Mum, but congratulations on your inheritance. Sounds mint! Did she ever have the timing belt renewed?

Sounds as if you need a new actuator for the passenger door lock, the solenoid has probably failed. I'd check the wiring terminals first though in case something has come adrift there.

Welcome to the forum.

Not sure about the timing belt - it goes ok until 15 miles then the engine doesn't engage when stopped so jolts when it does - but my way round it is to put it into Snow, then it stays ready to go. So it's not mint (if you see me post in the newbie section, you'll read I've done some damage to it while she still owned it opps!

I'll check the wiring looms at some point. Thanks grandadmonkey :)
