Hi there, do you have the roof motor?
Got an auto electrician round to look at mine today as couldn't wait for delivery of the PP2000 bits!
All electrics reading ok, microswitches etc.
Best guess is roof motor slightly burnt out... Fingers crossed!
Happy to pay overnight delivery as well if you have the motor.
Cheers
Matt
Oh and get this:
Thieving pikey scumbags came along and helped themselves to the bootlid assembly (including all framework and control gear), and the front subframe including PAS rack, a suspension upright, disc and calliper.
Requests still welcome for anything NOT listed above.

If it's a 1.6 then it certainly should do. Only thing is - where are you? Edit: I just noticed from another of your posts: Devon.
The entire exhaust is only a couple of feet shorter than the whole car! I may be able to split it down slightly, depending on how much it's rusted together, but even then the shortest section is 6ft long, and the 3 sections must weigh in excess of 10kg.
So carriage could be a bit of an issue.

A question, and please don't laugh at me too much for asking, but: what's that big black cylinder for (the one that lives under the driver's side front wing with 2 pipes going to/from it)?

When requesting help of a technical nature, please give as much detail of the fault as possible along with details of exact model, engine size & type, gearbox, year, mileage, and any relevant work carried out to try to solve the problem to help us help you.
Better still, put the details in your signature.
