Anyone got any opinions on the following:
1) Stiffer/lower suspension (springs and dampers)
2) Better brakes (I was thinking grooved discs, steel hoses and some decent pads -- at over 1100kg it should be heavy enough for Mintex 1155s but they tend to leave lumps of rusty welded-on friction material on the side of the car)
3) LAD's 180bhp conversion (actually it's for the 206GTi but I assume it would be OK for the CC too?)
4) Better tyres -- I'm a convert of Toyo Proxes (not on a Pug, though)
5) Drivetrain -- I assume there's no front LSD. Anyone thought of putting a Quaife ATB in (is it even possible)?

sometimes standard tyres vary but i believe they are still Eagle F1's and have been for a while - both my CC's were fitted with them.

1) Stiffer/lower suspension (springs and dampers)
I have eibach -35mm springs and, for spirited driving they are easily the best thing i've bought for the car. Besides the slight lowering, centre of gravity and all that, body roll has been reduced to nil, which does lead to some fairly jerky movements when changing direction briskly. It noticely holds on to corners far better. Worthwhile at around £80 iirc
3) LAD's 180bhp conversion (actually it's for the 206GTi but I assume it would be OK for the CC too?)
Apparently they do not reach 180bhp, check out the peugeot-gti forums for "comments" on LAD's work.
4) Better tyres -- I'm a convert of Toyo Proxes (not on a Pug, though)
Running 15" Proxe's on my GTi, no complaints. Having said that I didnt have a bad word to say about the P-6000's it came with since the weather over here is pretty dry, and these tyres arent bad in that weather.
5) Drivetrain -- I assume there's no front LSD. Anyone thought of putting a Quaife ATB in (is it even possible)?
Should be possible yes.
