206 hdi throttle problem

hi all i have a 206 sw verve.when i start the car it starts with no problems,but now and again the throttle does not work when pressed,if you turn off the car a couple of times it will start and throttle will work.this problem has got worse over recent months.my local garage has done a diognostic check that returned nothing.we replaced the electronic throttle unit with no look.can anyone help

Sounds like APP going faulty (Throttle pedal sensor) You could try recalibrating it.

To reset pedal
Pedal position sensor programming procedure
• accelerator pedal at rest,
• switch on the ignition,
• press the accelerator pedal down fully,
• release the accelerator pedal,
• start the engine without accelerating.

hello. this is a well known fault. it is corrupt engine ecu software.you need to get booked in to have a software update :)
