Roof seals

Post by sunnydelight32 »

Does anyone know of the easiest and cheapest method to re-seal my roof? Been leaking really bad with the heavy rain and its going to ruin my interior. Was only a few drips in the passenger side but now i have a small swimming pool. Was thinking of replacing the seals but would like to try easier and cheaper options first. Plus is it usually the rubber seals that are at fault?

Does vaseline help with such a bad leak as ive read alot of people are trying this.

Sounds as if your roof is mis-aligned. Has the car been in an accident?

Silicon grease can help, but only where the seals are dry and need a little lubrication. Silicon grease can be bought from a plumbers merchants. Don't get it in your eyes.
