Passenger window-roof leaking in carwash. OUCH.

Post by minimoy »

So i got wet today when i went off the wash my car. The reason: on the passenger side the window is not closing well or somehting of the sort and i saw water coming in from it (when i managed to rub the water out of my eyes...). also, water was dripping from the roof mechanism strap or what'sitcalled, and i was very surprised and now i'm sad.
Can someone help me with tips and advices? Or do you reckon it's best to take it down to the Pug service?
Cheers guys

I woud never trust a car wash with my car :yikes: I would try using silicone spray on the rubber seals first and see if that helps. If your passenger window isn't closing properly it sounds like it may need adjusting. You could do this yourself but otherwise I would advise a trip to the dealer.

Thanks for the advice, but you know not all of us have time to wash our cars by hand...

I find the time. I work full time and keep a home. It doesn't take that long. :P
