Hi, my 1.6 05 engine has only done 33 000 miles and I get a tapping noise from the engine especially when she is cold. Does this engine have adjustable tappets or metal shims? Does anyone know the correct haynes manuel for this car?
Also, I sometimes get a slight sharp squeel from the engine bay area when opperating the clutch to change gear. If I just press in the clutch it is fine, it is only while driving and changing gear
