Sales experience was excellent, originally went to Bristol Street Motors in Banbury and they didn't seem bothered about selling us a car so we spent our Â£17K at Faringdon Garages instead!

Got the car 05/01/02 and we are thrilled with it - Silver with Black and Red Leather - a bit dirty now mind!

The stereo was broken when car arrived at garage and they managed to order and fit a new one from Peugeot within 3 days - even over the Christmas period!

The car even came with the proper 206cc manual!

Have not had any experience with the service department yet but will not get our hopes too high of having faultless service!

Don't even get me started about Faringdon Garage Service Dept!! :0((((((( Especially regarding Warranty Repairs.... RRRRRRRRRRRRRR

However their bodyshop is good, as they rebuilt my 206GT very well :0))

I used Peter Ambrose Ltd in Castleford, West Yorkshire. The salesmen were down to earth and helpful, no frills or pukey sales pitch - just what I wanted. They also didn't require a massive deposit (Â£200.00). A very pleasant experience after initially visiting Woodkirk Peugeot just outside Leeds. When I turned up there to look at the car for the first time in the flesh the salesman was reluctant to show me the car and when I asked him to show me the roof he refused as he said he would be embarrassed if it failed as it had been up and down all day! I ask you! I think he took one look at me decided I couldn't afford it and dismissed me. Well the 206cc on my driveway at home proves different! Also Woodkirk wanted a Â£3000.00 deposit - yes 3K!

When I first went to look at the car no one approached me so I went another time still no one approached me on my third visit someone approached me I think they didn't help me because of my age and also they most probably didn't think I could afford it, My deposit was Â£500.

I have to recommend Becks of Brighton. They've been polite, positive to criticism about an initial fault which they sorted straight away, loaned me a 307 for a few hours and cleaned the car for me to boot before collection. Flowers on delivery and a free valet for new customers.

At the present time, Beck's customer service couldn't have been much better in my book!
