Hi hezzys

Fuel additives do work, provided their used properly along with cleaners.

Example

Oil additives are supposed to help to stop the oil from turning to gulp (if you leave an oil change to long) and for reduce premature wear from cold. (but a good oil and regular change do the same thing)

Fuel cleaners can help by keeping your jets and pump clean and chambers. (Really only use once a year or if you use bad petrol, or let it run out to many times, or a high performance car where you use normal very day fuel but at a track use high performance fuel)

Hope this help and always read the labels as some are designed for old car and add lead additive to the engine.

I just make sure I never use supermarket petrol in my cars.
I always use Texaco, Shell, BP, Total or Esso as they have additives already.
