y reg 2001 206cc speed pulse sensor location ?

hi all,

i've got a bit of a problem, i am trying to install a clarion nax sat nav unit into my cc the problem is one of the wires on the unit needs to be connected to a wire from the speed pulse sensor could anyone give me some advice where would be the best connection point and where it is,

depending what age and what engine you got??.
you can take it from the speed sensor or the abs unit.

hi reap, thanks for the reply i think i've sussed the speed sensor thing , i've got a y reg 2001 1600, i have connected the wire to a 26 pin connector behind the instruments, postition 25 wire number 465 if thats correct , got the info from here http://www.407forum.nl/~peugeotdata/dat ... en.htm#206 , if so it's just the reverse light live i'm looking for now mate, please have a look at this thread http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?id=10044,

Hi, anyone know where the speed sensor is on a 2001 Peugeot 206cc petrol engine, it's a 2.0L model, my daughter has had her car die on her three times now, and peugeot do not even know where it is, or what shape it is?
Any help would be appreciated
