Nope, not photoshop! Used a piece of software that our company has developed (
http://www.cre8tiv.com )- it's much cleverer (the textures wrap around the car as if they're in 3D space) and more fun!
We've also got an online version (ActiveX control) that lets you map colours & textures in realtime (you can even drag your own textures from your disk directly into the image). I'm gonna ask my boss very nicely if I can set it up on my site somewhere for all to play with

It's a system called 3Di by the company I work for, cre8tiv (
http://www.cre8tiv.com ). I assume you've seen this thread:
http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... php?t=4537
Basically we have an authoring package where you define the areas for re-mapping and setup meshes, which basically describe the 3D shape of the object (note that the baked beans follow the 3D shape of the boot for example). Then we export a file which contains the background image and masks/meshes to a web-ready format for use with the ActiveX control. We can author any kind of image, such as carpets/wallpaper/curtains for interior decorating or as you see here for cars.
OK, sales pitch over
