Greetings from 206 CC owner Canada!

Post by Tincap »

Hi all,

I've recently imported a 2002 Peugeot 206 CC, from Japan to Canada. It's an S16 model, with the 2.0L/5-speed and although from Japan, it's LHD.

I'm already busy scanning the forum, because I have roof problems. Hoping to gain valuable insight here. Other than roof issues, it's a fantastic car!

Cheers!

~Randy

Hi Randy and welcome. Can you buy Peugeot spares in Canada?

A useful resource is the Peugeot Service Box. Register as an independent (e.g. "Rideau Auto Repairs") and you get access to parts information according to the VIN of the car, and pay-to-view access to repair procedures and wiring information.

If you don't want pay-to-view, for C$ 16.99 you can download it all (covers all Peugeots, not just the 206) as an emanual.

Hi Tincap,

Was it difficult to import a 206CC in Canada?

@IanL, I actually purchased the eManual, but the virtual machine hangs on booting WinXP. Any advice if you have used the manual previously?

I haven't encountered that problem, but I suggest you contact emanual support. I had a different issue, and they dealt with me very professionally and quickly sorted it out.

All sorted out.
I contacted eManual support and they first provided guidance through messages.
When that failed they offered to connect remotely and fix the install, which they actually did.

So a big + for them.
