hi need a new key fob last 8 digits of the vin are42184985 any help please

If its just the fob you need you can order them on ebay for a couple of quid, if you search on youtube you can see how to transfer the pcb etc into the new fob.

no the micro switch for the unlock is missing i need a new key

You can buy the micro switches as part of the kit, really easy to fit with a dab of solder, I did it with my key as both the outerfob and the micro switches were damaged, quick look on youtube and 2 mins with the solder iron, mounted into the new fob and hey presto my remote was working again.

Did mine today, took a couple of attempts to get new micro switches to take, but got there in the end. Took about 15 minutes to do. Now keyfob works fine, unlocks car ok, but when locking door locks go down then straight back up. Any ideas? I have to put key in lock to lock. Does car need setting up or something??
