Alternator

Post by Tracey j »

How hard is is to change an alternator
Or how expensive would it roughly be done at a garage
For a 53 pug cc

It's a bit fiddly, but not the worse. Probably an hour to change it (depending on engine & ancillaries) so you can work out the cost from garages hourly rate.
Cheers Col.

Depends on your problem. It's reasonably intuitive once you've got it up and running but I still come across issues that aren't a very good French to English translation, and initial setup can be a nightmare.
There are extensive help threads for PP2000 on www.peugeotforums.com with contributions from many people who have had to deal with most issues.
They should be able to help you get it working, but after that for answers on faults specific to the 206 CC you're best off coming back here.

That sounds like the keycode generator. You definitely need to go to Peugeotforums.com for help on that, as per my previous post about initial setup being a nightmare.
