well, just bought pug cc in caymen green, and it had 68000 miles, so took it to a dealership, in basildon, and got it serviced, gold service, £190, so yeah, thought why not, look after it, but have just paid over £800, so big surprise,
Problem is, leaking clutch?...gearbox?..
Some sort of hub was cross threaded, so needed a new what ever, and then new brake pads and brakes, as usual...
so is this ridiculously expensive?...or am i extremely vague, and you cant actually tell! lol.. but anyways, feel like i wanna cry, never have any luck with cars!
have i been raped?
Sorry to hear about your problems i also never have any luck with cars but fingers crossed this is my first peugeot and so far so good!
The trouble i have with most garages is your relying on them to tell the the truth and the problem i have is i dont think they do and there doesnt seem to be alot we can do about it except pay and weep.
Hope things get better

I've just paid 900 on a service so know how you feel. New brakes and pads, tyres... mine hasn't even done 40,000 so don't feel too bad.
Those things aren't wrong with your car, they just need replacing over time. Motoring is expensive.

My last (very last, never to be repeated, won't go back ever again!) dealer service was $AU1,800 for the 80,000km service. I'd already done the cambelt change, so this was just a bit rich in my opinion.
Recently, I tracked down a specialist non dealer service centre. They specialise in French cars. The car is better than it's been in a long while and I am tickled pink!
The car has been dealer serviced up till now. Sadly, I thought I was doing the right thing. Even if you leave aside the exhorbitant bills, the worst part is they don't do the work or even put the parts in, they just give you a big bill and do nothing!
