OE aren't multi electrode plugs. Bog standard ones.

You can get four Super 4s for less than £20!

Remember

(1) look for the plug type FR78NX rather than for the car as they screw up the compatible vehicles lists

(2) if they want mega-bucks they are out-of-stock and rather than start a new listing, inflate the price to try and stop people trying to order and reset it when they have them again (saves ebay costs)

Hi Hawnet,
If you are really want Halfords to do the work which is relatively painless with a proper plug wrench, ask them to give you the old plugs back.
The old plugs can be checked to see what brand and type they are. Also, the condition of the plugs might reveal some useful information.

Cheers,
Iain.

Take off engine cover (turn clips thro 90 degrees), remove coilpack (remove plug at end and a couple of small headed but long bolts) and pull up straight and firmly.

Remove old plugs, replace new ones and torque to correct setting with optional copper grease on threads and replace coilpack (don't forget plug and electrics) and engine cover.

Even if Halfords do offer it as a service, I wouldn't let them plus they are expensive (as were the plugs I bet!). Better to learn to do it yourself to (a) save money and (b) get the satisfaction of saying "I did that!"
