Post by neil0804 »

Hi all, How easy to is it to change my bumper grill? Do i need to remove the bumper to gain access or can it be done while on the car?
Cheers, Neil

Bumper needs to come off to do it properly.

Get 2 new bumper bolts as they usually snap removing them, £1.42 each from main stealers

Yes with the square end, awkward buggers to undo as well passenger side even more because of the air duct behind the headlight.

OK .. You mean the two holding bumper to wing. Found the two that bolt into the radiator cross-member can be hardest. The three along the top can also be rusty and as torx screws can round off easily.

Make sure you have plenty of good penetrating fluid, like PlusGas not WD40, and soak the bolts for a few days before you start ...
