Changing clock/heater lights

Post by Namrood »

I'm in the process if changing the colour on my clocks/heater control. I've seen most people use white paper but they seem to get hotspots.

I have bought defuser film from here

They also sell translucent/transparent film.

I got a better result.

Here is a quick pic. Not the best. They do make metal dials but they are expensive.

Might be worth asking (or searching) on 206info.co.uk ... they have more experience and history on customising.

Generally it's not that simple as they film is part of the unit or the colour comes from the actual lcd panel.

I've changed my clock light now, looks great I brought the stuff from where you did.
If you have a heater with the screen on how have you changed that? The same way as the clock
