H7 HID Kit

Post by AllenConquest »

I'm sure there are a number of people on the forum with Xenon HID lights. Can anyone recommend some. I have a 206cc 05, which I believe is Canbus and therefore needs these. how about something like :http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390708030370? ... EBIDX%3AIT

There are rules around fittings HID ... one could be headlamp washers!

MOT is being tightened up all round ... may not be worth it

And you will need two sets to cover both lamps ... you won't pass with a HID dip and normal Main (or vice versa) ...

... I've started to hear of fails where people have fitted LED side lights which don't match the dip/main beam colour ...

I found an interesting information sheet http://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov. ... dlamps.pdf

If this is correct, then you need to replace the entire headlamp!

Shame no-one reads these ...

And this is why the MOT is being tightened ... lots of mods will be illegal ie removal of cat (or even empty cats), lighting, incorrectly spaced/font number plates, etc ...

Fit H7 LED lights.
Proper 25+ watts and you will have bright white light and not break the law.
The rules for standard lamps are the same if they are LED.
