Hi all,

have had my CC for just over 2 years now.
have just noticed that the paint on the luggage racks on the boot is strating to flake off in big chunks!!

its mainly doing it along the iside edges of the luggage racks (?!) but when i washed the car on Sunday, more and more paint came off on the sponge.

never been thru a chemical carwash so i know its not that causing it, and haven't put any thing on the boot to scratch it/cause damage.

have booked in with nearest pug garage at the end of the week to let them have a look at it.
do you think this wil be/ should be covered by my warranty?

has anyone else had this problem?

would like to go along with some idea of what im talkin about warranty wise, or if its a common problem in case they try and fob me off.

also, sorry 4 waffling, should i get a courtesy car if they have to keep it in for a few days?

Any help greatly appreciated,

Eve x

welcome to the world of the CC

haven't heard of flaking paint b4 :? hopefully it should be covered under warranty, you might get a courtesy car but might have to book the car about 2/3 weeks in advance as per most peugeot dealers.

if you get no joy via the warranty it shouldn't cost that much to have them resprayed at a friendly independent garage :)

On another note does anyone know where I can get touch up paint for Aluminium Silver? Halfords used to do the single paint pens but they only do the paint repair kits now and they only specify peugeot silver.

Cheers.
