This may seem a stupid question, however is there any major difference between chrome hoops and stainless steel hoops, in the sense does one or the other look more tacky, kindly advise????

Many thanks

They should both look good, nice and shiny. Probably the chrome ones will be shinier than the stainless steel.

The main difference is that if the chrome-plated ones get badly scratched the metal underneath could begin to corrode. Good quality stainless steel shouldn't corrode even if scratched.

I have just bought my 1st gorgeous 206cc :lol2: and the chrome gear knob is scratched to pieces so does anyone know where I can get a new one as the ones on ebay are horrid and just want a simple plain chrome one like I have.

I also want chrome roll bars for the back and some nice interior mats?

Did you guys get the gear knob off in the end?

:love-thx:

The gear knobs are aluminium I think, not chrome plated.
I'd have a go at polishing the scratches out first using a mildly abrasive metal polish.
