New Thread?

Post by omygitworks »

Hi folks  this mostly for the staff or site coder but would a suggestion for a forum headed "guides" be an idea then posts such as "correct method for disconnecting battery " manual operation of roof" etc could be grouped in there it may save the mods some time and effort (they could easily point to that thread) perhaps ;)

Thanks for the suggestion.
Both the battery disconnection, and manual operation of roof and some of the other issues that often come up are posted as "stickies" in the relevant sections.
There is also a SEARCH facility on the forum as well as the separate section for the REPAIR GUIDES

Does this not cover what you are suggesting? Have you some question you can't find an answer to?
Cheers Col.

When requesting help of a technical nature, please give as much detail of the fault as possible along with details of exact model, engine size & type, gearbox, year, mileage, and any relevant work carried out to try to solve the problem to help us help you.
Better still, put the details in your signature.

Hi Capncol thanks for the quick response :) I am not looking for anything in particular it was just a suggestion that I thought may make it easier for both the mods and users of the site to have a thread in the main boards for some of the guides that are already in the threads grouping the most used ones in their own thread, :) as I say just a suggestion ;)
