Hi guys,

My girlfriend just picked up a 2004 206 CC (1.6L, 4 Speed auto Tiptronic). It's had 1 previous female owner and is in pretty good condition (only 43500KMs on the clock).
We drove it home (2.5hr drive), left it for a bit and then started it back up again to head out. When in neutral or park everything is fine, but when the car is put into gear, there's a loud buzzing sound coming from the engine. No warning lights or meters are displayed on the dash and getting a little frustrated as we didn't hear it when testing the car out.

I've read about a buzz noise coming from the engine cover, but was under the impression that the buzz comes up at about 2800 revs.

Also, should the fan in front of the radiator start as soon as the car starts up or is this once it heats up or the AC is on?

Any help would be awesome.

Cheers
