Not a Newbie - But.......

Post by cabrioman »

Not a newbie as I've been a member for a while.
Had an 04 206cc couple of years back and had to sell it as I had a company car and it wasn't being used.
Now moved to Wales and settled in, so it's time to hunt again for another one.
Plan is to sell the current car and buy one by the end of the year. (Christmas present for myself :big-grin: )
Any other members in the Swansea area of Wales?

Based in Bristol, but my mother lives in Swansea so visit a few times each year. Always enjoy the
drive down......roof up or down....mostly up. Don't see too many 206ccs in the area....plenty in
Bristol............sadly all looking a little the worse for wear !!!

Cool :)
Might have to meet up at some point if you're up for that.
I've seen a few around but most are not looked after like you say.

We've just decided to sell our 2005 206cc 1.6 16v Moonstone Blue Allure with 33k on the clock. Unspoilt and original, MOT'd until March 2016. Comes with a space saver spare and a wind deflector. Just ordered a VW Polo for my wife which we collect in a week's time. Garage offered me £1,100 in part exchange - cheeky monkeys. Paid them cash and got a discount on the Polo instead.

Sounds like a good car. Unfortunately I'm quite specific about the one I'm going to buy. Has to be eithet Green or orange or one of the 2 blues with leather interior and preferably a 2 litre.
