Oil Drip ... or not ... yes there is, somewhere

Post by SteamboatWilly »

Folks,

First post newbie but I've read a lot of previous posts before. Good forum by the way!

Anyhoo, my 206 (120k) has developed an oil drip so I figured it deserved some attention. Not too bad a leak and it only drops a couple of drips onto the drive once I've parked. However, when I drive initially and get out of the car there's a smell of burnt oil (manifold?).

So, in a fit of activity today I've Gunk'd the whole of the bottom of the car and then blasted around the block and up the by-pass to see if I can locate the leak The engine is as clean as a whistle and I can't see any drips.

Howzat? Any ideas? Should I give it a longer run over a couple of days? I hoped I'd be able to see a new oil run somewhere on the engine.

Appreciated ...
