Hi there,
I am new to this site, and a new owner of a 206cc,and I would appreciate anyone help/advice please. I love this car, but it has a leak, it seems to be coming from the rear passenger side near to where the roof folds. I have checked the seals on the roof and they are all dry.......
The rear seats are soaking wet and it took me over 4 hours with the heater on full to semi-dry them. It then rained again, and the seats are soaking wet again.
Also the passenger door window does not seem it fit into the seals as well as the drivers door, could this be contributing to the wet I wonder.
I have got to the point that I am seriously considering selling the car.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

My car leaks when there is a heavy downpour or i'm simply just washing it! All seals to the roof are intact. But like yours the rear window doesn't completely come in to contact with the front window which is what i think is contributing to the wetness.
I've had all sorts of other problems in the last year or so. And am now at the point where i'm tired of spending money on it so it's got to go!

The seals need greasing with silicon grease but be careful how you do it. Some can be done with the roof right open, but some will need the roof partially open. Do not switch off the ignition mid-cycle and don't leave the roof opening sequence stopped for any length of time, just the few seconds you need to apply the clear silicon grease and rub it in. When restarting the roof make sure you continue in the same direction - don't reverse it. Any queries please ask otherwise you'll have trouble trying to reset the roof.
