Howdy peeps

Its been a long time since I posted on here but thought you might like to know that I traded my Quiksilver in for a new car last week.

I went to a motor show and saw the new shape Mazda MX5 and said to myself 'I gotta have one of those sexy little things'. Off I trots to several dealers and eventually plumped for a 55 plate ex-demo 1.8 Options version. I got a fantastic part-ex deal on the Quiksilver and am well pleased with my new purchase. Whoever buys my Quiksilver is definately getting a beauty. Low mileage (5800 miles - I only had her for 18 months), immaculate condition etc.

I still love everything about my old Quiksilver but to be honest, the MX5 knocks spots off it.

Would you believe it though. How gutted was I when on Monday afternoon the chairman of the company where I work parked his Audi A4 estate without putting the bl**dy hand brake on properly. It duly rolled down the slope right into the side of my brand spanking new car which I had owned for less than a week. Cry? Did I ever. To be fair to the old chap - he is as gutted as I am but he is dipping into his own pocket and persoanlly taking charge of getting it repaired to top notch standards. I should damn well think so!

So if anyone wants to know where they can get a cracking good 206CC Quiksilver 04 plate - let me know and I can give you the details.

Good luck with the new car :)

As much as I loved it, getting rid of the CC was the best thing I ever did - saved me a fortune in repairs

Of course I'll still drop by. Always have done - just not posted very often thats all.

I may look stupid when I do it, but I will still wave at CC's as they go by
