I have had only 2 cc's, a beautiful blue one, which we got rid of after 2 years, the dealer had left the oil cap off, you can imagine what damage that would have done. The little silver one I've had since 2003, it had done 132,000 miles, was still fun to drive and I will miss it. But things were beginning to go wrong and we need a car as no public transport to work around here near Wallingford. Gone for another convertible an Audi A3.
So thanks for all the help I have been given over the years, it's good to know people are out there who want to help. I was a member of the Izusu trooper forum and I had great help there too. I really appreciated it. Sorry to go, I'm sure the audi club if there is one, wont be as good as this one. Bye Bye everyone  :   8)

Those Twin Tops look really roomy and classy. Hope you get on well with it.

We sold our 206cc to a friend about 14 months ago. She loves it and it is her pride and joy. We still see it around the village.

Pat now has a 1.4 VW Polo Match Edition. More staid, but very practical and economical - 52mpg on a run.

The Astra Twintops have really come down in price and you can get a good one for about £2k but they also suffer with microswitch issues, roof looms breaking (Updated looms available) and a pair of cogs that strip (Updated metal ones on ebay and easy to replace).

Hahaha, this topic seems to be going down another avenue, so has anyone else gone for another convertible?
