I was toying with PX'ing the 206 for a 207CC, but test drove the 207CC and was not impressed. So wasn’t sure what to buy next. We had been previously looking at getting an Elise, but then after a little research realized that you can buy an Elise with a Vauxhall badge, which is quicker and cheaper to run. Eventually test drove a VX220 Turbo and must say if anyone wants a drivers car then this is the ultimate for the money. Nothing compares it was stunning. Best thing I’ve ever driven and I once said Vauxhalls were crap. Nearly brought one just before Xmas, but fell through because the dealer decided to start adding prices for tax and stereo.

Anyway after some more consideration it seemed stupid to have a 2 seater sports car and either a 206cc and a Saxo as the other car.

It seemed every time we found something to buy we always seem to come up with excuses and I was starting to wonder if I had an arse at all I was being so tight. So last Wednesday we finally bit the bullet and brought a new vehicle. The Saxo and 206 are staying. They are worth more to us than anyone will be willing to pay. And they are both great little motors.

So what did we buy? Well its has a French 3.OL 6speed gearbox with 350 Nm of torque. It has a large panoramic sunroof and it has more toys than Hamleys including a spamspam sink!

Looks pretty good - wouldn't mind one myself as long as I could fit a trailer to carry the 350Z :D

A friend of mine has got a 1.4 207 as a courtesy car at the moment and I was very dissappointed with the build quality. The car has 6,000 on the clock and is about 6 months old, but the flip out key spring has already worn, so it's dangling in the barrel, and the cover over the mirror on the visor is loose. And when you shut the door, it sounds like a van.

Peugoet should be bettering themselves, not going to opposite way.

It will pull 750Kg unbraked and 1600Kg Braked. I have been toying with the idea of a trailer, but we are running out of space to store stuff. I guess we will have to see how we get on with it, so far so good. Been down some single track roads and its amazing how differently people treat you. In the CC or the saxo it would be a constant battle, but in the Knaus everyone seems to get out of the way.

Saxo has now gone :(

Replaced with 995KG 225BHP and 200 lb/ft of torque! ( It scares me and makes the Pug feel more like the motorhome to drive ) Its not quite a Vaxhaull, but Lots Of Trouble Usualy Serious! :firedevil:
