Sticking rear windows

Post by rhume »

Both rear windows were starting to get unreliable when going up. Took seats and trim off. Removed polystyrene cover from window compartment and then lubricated all sliders and wires. Now the windows whizz up and down like a dream :) Job took 30 mins to do.

I used a PTFE based one that I use on bike chains. Doesn't pick up dirt as easily. I didn't realise how complicated the system was till I got into it.
