The fuse location is not mentioned in the hand book and I`ve searched this forum for a posting.......so.......I appeal to members for some help.

Might be the 40amp at position 10 in the under dash fuse box .. the mirror heaters are linked to this circuit

there's a second fuse box in the engine bay .. so check those too

Sometimes, a BSI reboot does the trick.

Thank you IanL.
However despite checking every stage the reboot didn`t work.Could there be another fuse?
Any more ideas would be extremely appreciated.

If there is power to fuse 10, then the problem is in the control system. Can you tell if Relay 2 in the BSI is switching when the button is pressed? If it is not, I would suspect the button first.

In the fuse box under the dash .. the handbook doesn't show which one so rest you finger on them one at a time and turn rear window heater on then off ... one should "click" ...

Maybe wet tomorrow so I`ve just checked 3 relays and there is no vibration on any.
If the switch/button is duff it will need brain surgery to get at it,
Thanks for the help.

Did you check with a voltmeter or test lamp whether there is power to Fuse 10?

Unplug and clean all the BSI connectors and sockets with contact cleaning spray (NOT WD40!!!). I think it best to disconnect the battery (according to the prescribed method) whilst doing this.

I still don`t know what the BSI is so I cleaned all the contacts on the relays without success.

It`s looking like I need a pro.
If there is any more ideas I will give them a try before I make the call.
