So had an electrical fault late last year (earthing point issue) and my exhaust split.
Being clever (not) I locked the car, disconnected the battery thinking I would get round to doing it this year. Time passed and to be honest money was tight so I left it. I have just realised that I cannot actually get into the car to pop the bonnet. I can unlock the door with the key etc but of course with no battery the window doesn't drop slightly to open the door.
Other than breaking the window is there a way to get into the engine compartment so I can connect and charge the battery and open the car and go about fixing it???
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Battery Disconnected - Locked out
Thanks for the info. So tried today, drivers door definitely will not open (and that is the only one I tried previously) but the passenger door does. Thank you for the advice, looks like drivers door now added to my to do list. Thanks again.
