206 1.6 hdi no dip headlights

Guys,
I wonder if anyone can help point me in the right direction, My wifes convertable 206 dip headlights just stopped working.
it has auto function on it which ive changed to manual and they still dont work, ive checked the fuses and changed the bulbs ( just for peace of mind ) ive tried the BSI REBOOT and when i restart the car the left dip comes on for about 5 mins then goes off.
All the other lights work fine ie side and main, the only thing I havent tried is the windscreen wipers all other systems seem fine.

When you say "changed to manual" do you mean you changed the com2000 unit? (steering column stalks). You have to make sure you get a matching unit ior the bsi throws a wobbly.
