Replaced my battery

Hi was hopping some one could help Iv replaced my wife's battery on here 206cc 1.6 51 plate but it will not idle properly and revs go up and down think the throttle needs re programming but have no idea how to do this

Did you use the procedure for doing a soft bsi restart when you changed the battery?
