I caught an episode of Knightrider on Bravo on Saturday. Right at the start Kitt was a convertable, and as Michael drove off for his mission he raised that metal folding roof, and it went up just like the 206cc's! And that was back in the 80's.

If I remember to activate the roof didn't he have a button marked 'C' *forerunner to CC methinks*
