:mfight:
Anyone else had experience of this department and their 'disloyalty' scheme?

Suspension Spring completely corroded through on my 5 year old <30,000 pug (looks like been rusting from new). Peugeot's response: to paraphrase: 'beggar off'. So after nearly suffering heart attack, I am also left £300 out of pocket!

Springs do rust. and speed humps don't help either, do they?
£300 sounds a lot! I presume both sides are being renewed?

Out of warranty maybe, but Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994 applies for stuff that fails earlier than you would reasonably expect it to. You have up to six years to bring such cases to court.

Have a google around see if you can find others affected and read up on it, if you involved the meeja in some way they'll likely give in and sort it out. Citizens advice etc. It's all do-able but unlike warranty claims a little more grief to achieve.
