Roof problems

Post by Lofty0 »

Hi all
After changing most things on my roof , pump, motor and a couple of micro switches
Got a problem as the boot lid closes very slowly and takes about 5 times to close approx 3 mins
Anyone got any ideas to what could cause this
Thanks

Could be air in the system if you have changed the pump. Usually cycling the roof half a doz times purges it

Boot is either not closed properly or the micro swith in the latch is faulty / out of adjustment
Cheers Col.

I bet on latch. Try pushing you boot at the corners to check it is closed.

Just disconnect it and forget about it it will just cause you trouble, this wont affect the roof working.

Hi Stephanne here in Spain,
I have a roof problem as well, Peugeot in Spain are pretty good and have identified the usual pump motor etc, but cannot get some small parts as they say they are not made anymore. I have attached a diagram, can anyone sell me these bits or let me know where to get them.
Roof will not operate without them.

I am new to your excellent website.
Regards and many thanks all

There is a place near Romford called Ford Peugeot Spares that break 206cc. You could try them.
