Replacement Aerial options?

Post by Shaun Lee »

The aerial could do with replacement.

I would prefer a shorter unit, but am I right in thinking that the standard length is optimised for bandwidth and range and by replacing with a shorter unit, these would be affected.

What are my options?
02 Pug 206cc 1.6 NFU Moonstone.

Problems to date:

* Roof not working, Gearbox bearing knackered, Wishbones, droplinks and brake discs kaput - All Fixed.
* Rear wheel bearing rumble - TBC
* Engine wiring fried and Immobilser / Eco mode fault......ongoing.

Any aerial should work mate it doesn't normally effect how good your signal is if you buy a decent one and don't go cheap. Obviously a larger aerial will have better range though when I replaced a large one to a tiny beesting one on my clio I didn't really see any difference. Hope this helps.
You can make something idiot proof, but someone will just make a better idiot.

Just make sure it clears the roof as it folds
