peugeot 206 sport 1.4 2006 Sony stereo on when ignition off

I have peugeot 2006 2006 model and i have installed new sony HU with stalk adapter 099-x41

everything works ok on the stalk beside steering wheel for volume etc
memory is also ok .

but my main problem is this -


when i take out my ignitionkey the stereo is still on,

i think is turn off after a while and i know i can just take the fascia off

but im worried incase it still draining my battery

is their a way round this

i have read thru other posts and discovered about connecting a wire to brake cable - not sure what to do here
how do i fuse a wire etc

please any help

Sounds as if you've connected the switched live connection at the radio to the permanent live feed in the car. Multimeter needs to come out to identify the switched live feed from the car terminal, and switch the appropriate wires in either connector. That way you'll be able to get the radio to come on and off with the ignition as intended.

ive switched red & yellow wire still doing the same

Think it's coz yours it multiplexed
You have to get something turned off from peugeot
