I have picked up a JBL sound system, amp & speakers, & retro fitted into my daughters 206cc. I managed to get hold of a wiring loom from a 406 coupe, have fitted it all in and it works ok. The only thing missing on the 406 loom is the final bit of wiring to the Sub speakers. After a bit of research on the web I discovered that the 206cc JBL Sub speakers are of the Dual Voice Coil type. These can either be wired in Series or parallel and will impose different loads on the amp. At the moment I have only wired one coil of the Dual Voice Coil speakers so as to be on the safe side.
Does anyone know which way these speakers should be wired please.
You can see the sub connectors & wiring by slightly lifting the boot screen. On each connector there are 2 wires from the amp & 4 to the speaker.
