Closing roof?-------Yes-------Yes-------No
Failing to start?---No -------No--------No
Engine cutting out?-Yes-------Yes---Time will tell
Windows rattling?---Yes-------No--------No

Brakes "squeaking"?--No-------No--------No
Clutch pedal
"squeaking"?--------N/A-------N/A-------N/A

Any other problems - Please detail any other problems you may have encountered including those that were fixed by returning the cc to the dealer:

No kick down of auto gear box at delivery of car, new gear box eventually fitted (2 months to convince Birtwistle it was faulty, and 5 weeks for replacement). Car still has intermittent roof interlock problem, and not sure if cutting out has been fixed. Birtwistle of Northwich say they can't take car in for 6 weeks as their 'computer is faulty'. Booked in at Warrington. Car is going back, totally fed up with it and the ridiculously poor service (in my opinion) from Birtwistles.

Hi, just reading what you had to say about Birtwistles & I have to agree with you. I live in Winsford & I went to Birtwistles when I first had the leak in my roof/boot. They were quite helpful at first but once they found out it was an import they changed their tune. They said it would be 6 weeks before they could fit it in as they had their own warranty work that had preference. The old dear was rather off hand with me, so I told her to stick the work where the sun don't shine (but not in such a polite manner). When the dealer I got the car from tried to book in at Birtwistles they were also told they would not take it. I have now complained to Peugeot UK about them. They messed with the wrong person this time!!

Hi, I recently purchased a 2003 206cc Allure with a 16valve engine. I have had a problem trying to obtain a service/workshop manual for this model. Can anyone help?

I use Haynes Manual 4613 but it does not cover the 1.6 litre 16v petrol engine.

You have come on here not bothering with an introduction in the introduction thread

You have then posted on a questionaire in a survey thread giving scant details of the problem-

Not even bothering to tell us the year of your car, or what (if anything) you have already checked!
If you could be bothered to use the search facilityYou would have found plenty of ideas to go on

http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/search.ph ... mit=Search

Failing that, you could have posted a new thread in the correct section
http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=32
and got lots of help from the knowledgeable people on here!

Up to you really.
Cheers Col.

Better still, put the details in your signature.
