Those of you who've read the "Major Concerns" topic will know Rob and I have decided to have a crack at collecting data regarding the types and frequency of problems encountered by the cc owners that use this forum.

We could do with collecting as much data as possible so please complete the survey and spread the word to as many cc owners as you can.

206 cc problem survey:

Please copy and paste the questionnaire below into a new posting and complete all answers if possible.
I've completed mine so you can use it as an example.
Any data collected will ONLY be used for the purposes of this survey.

Please complete the survey even if you've NEVER had a problem with your cc, it's important that the data we collect shows as complete a picture as possible.
The more professional and competent our results, the more likely we are to be taken seriously.
We're not trying to cause malicious harm to the public perception of Peugeot, we just want them to make a serious effort to improve communication with their customers and address the serious quality problems afflicting what is an otherwise great car.

A posting will be made to the forum to notify you of the closing date of the survey.

Cheers in advance,
Justin.

PS. You'll notice the formatting is a bit of a mess but don't worry about it, the problem's down to the forum software ignoring spaces so I've used dashes instead. Just go for it - I'll figure out what you're saying

I am pleased to participate but hope that this is to target Peugeot plc and not individual Peugeot dealers. I know a lot of people had had probs with there dealers, but i think the main reason for their incompetance is lack of knowledge from Peugeot themselves.

So lets go for the puppet master and not the poor puppets

thanks

Any other problems - Yes.

-identified faults upon delivery of car - carpet came away at sides under door seals-
scratch on leather seat. Peugeot put new clips on straightway to fix. Peugeot offered replacement leather covering to scratched seat, haven't taken up offer as scratch is quite small.

First couple of days suffered door lock/sensor failure resulting in door opening onto 1st catch on motorway (alarming!). Dealer stripped door and repaired lock.

Curling rubber cosmetic strip (not the large plastic one) either side of car aft of the anti-roll that hides the roof mechanism, which can only be seen when roof is down. Spoke to Peugeot, they will attempt to fix at six month service.

8th May 2002

Well leak came back again on both passenger and driver side then the next thing i knew it was pouring thru the interior light. Would have stayed dryer with the roof down.
Took it to dealers in gloucester they said it was all fixed. Took it home, sun was shining so thought would put roof down, half way down and it stopped. Took it back to dealers now have got to wait for them to get in another new micro switch. Fixed the roof now have more leaks than before.
