Pull-down/push up Roof locks squeek no and again - not fixed
Roof failed to open on one occasion - a minute later it was ok...and still is
Suspension was slightly out - car leaned over to the right - fixed
cord and toggle popped out - easily fixed
Clocks, meters and display lights went out twice with warning lights came on at same time - lasted for a few seconds - nearly caused heart-attack
I've been to the year 3000. Not much has changed and we all drive Pugs

No major problems after 20,000 miles which looking on here is pretty good. Squeaky brakes? Yes Have been told by pug mechanic not to use pug pads and go for mintex which should apparently cure the prob.
Build quality could be better but who cares. almost worn out the front tyres after 20,000 is that good ? I think its quite good considering the power going through those front wheels.

Carpet coming away at driver's side under door seal - dealer tried once to fix and it's on the list when it goes for it's first service
Rear driver's window doesn't always come right back up at the first attempt
Water drips onto seats when you open door after rain; also if you drop window down after rain - guess this is a design fault

Having had 2 206cc's and covered 75,000 miles plus I think I can safely say I have a view.
These cars have been
A) The most comfortable
B) The most fun
C) The best cars I have owned (and probably driven) since I passed my test in 1967.

NO LEAKS
Excellent service
And lots of interested glances.
I have two friends with the Mercedes "folding roof" cars and both have had more problems than any Pug driver I've heard of.
Let's celebrate the fact that we have the BEST budget convertable available, compare it with the Golf, MG and Megane - no competition :!: :!: :!:
Owner 100
Now Owner of RA53EHX -307cc from October 2003 Now on 12,800 miles. One or two very minor niggles, Overall a very good motor.
First 206cc - Y689PMO - May 2001 to March 2002 - 28,800 miles
Second 206cc - RX02CCO - March 2002 to October 2003 - 46,900 miles
Total mileage to October 2003 - 75,700 miles
No leaks or problems!!

The passenger door had to be slammed to shut it,and Boot was out of allignment, both problems sorted at dealers
