Just interested to know if any compilation of the data to date has been performed? I'd be very interested to see it. If it hasn't been done I'm happy to extract the data and get it into a spreadsheet.
Cheers

Frosty,

I've been meaning to collate the data for a while but I've just bought a house and I get married soon so I've been a little preoccupied recently ;)

If you want to have a crack at it then please do, you're probably a much better statistician than me anyway

Cheers,
Justin.

Congratulations Justin on the upcoming wedding.

Let me see if I can find some time over the coming week and I'll see what I can do.

OK, I've copied all the survey info into a work doc and edited to reduce the size - is still 42 pages at 8 point font. There's a total of 58 respondents.

It is going to take quite some time to wade through all this data, code, collate and report. Don't hold your breath. I will however post some preliminary results (eg split of vehicle models, years, locaiton, mileage, etc, etc). Will get there eventually so please be patient.
Cheers

Next time I think I'll develop the survey in Excel and send it out. Will be far easier to collate. As mentioned some prelim data will be posted this weekend.

Sending to Lyndon right now

I'm not sending all the raw data, but it's there for anyone who wants it.

I'm no statistician, but gave it a go.

Let me know what you think.

Let me know what you want to know.

Next time around I'll develop a template in Excel and we'll pass it around for srutiny before we go live with it. With a template the collation and reporting will make turnaround time short.

Let me know if Excel is a problem for anyone. I think it's probably ok, and I'll certainly accommodate those who can't use Excel by manually inputting your data.

This is a great start, thanks to Justin's initiative to get it all going - three cheers for Justin.

Let's treat this as a serious output of our collective passions for CC's. Data is powerful. It will be the true means of getting attention where attention is needed.

Comments, constructive criticism and more importantly suggestions are needed.
Cheers

Trung, you gotthe early mail. I'd really be interested in your comments. Not so much about the content but how I coud improve designing a survey that gives something back to those who contribute?
