I've just bought the 206cc Quicksilver and just wondered if they were worth their money, it's the 1.6 16v how quick are they?

Thanks Vicky x

If you have just bought surely you now know :? ;)

I have one its lovely car, and well worth the money for all the extras you get.

I wouldnt say its a quick car though, morwe for cruising and looking good.

Quiksilver is just a design name as the interior has the logo on the seating.

I can't believe it's not quick. Will it be quicker than a 1.4 tigra then?

Its heavier, and vauxhalls (although not a great brand) do seem to produce more power per litre than most cars, so if the 1.6 cc is any quicker than a tigra 1.4 it may be only marginal

Looking it up (couldnt find tigra stats straight away, and slightly too busy to search extensuively but a 1.4 corsa is 0.2 seconds faster than ya new cc at 0-60. Presumably the tigra is a little heavier than the corsa so they should be about the same at 0-60, although this really is a crap way of measuring it, since some cars may have a slower 0-60 than others, but will be quicker at 30-50 or 30-70 which is a lot more useful.

I have a 206cc quicksilver. bought it new in september and although it's not the fastest, for the money it's great fun. Pokey enough for me. ;)

If you feel 2.0 206CC isn't any faster than 1.4 Tigra then you have broken 206CC or tuned Tigra
