When I opened the boot yesterday it felt extremely heavy and wouldn't stay up. I suspect that at least one of the support struts (gas struts?) has lost pressure. Anyone had this problem, or got information on how to cure? I am moderately mechanically competent.

Many thanks

Ron,
Thanks for the url to SHE-RAs thread. I have spoken with the Peugot dealer I bought the car from. I explained that at 3.5 yrs. (fisrst reg 11/01/05) and 35470 miles I felt that the supports should last a great deal longer than this. They are going to examine the car on Thursday with a view (from my point) to having the struts replaced FOC. If not, i'll plaster their name all over the internet and fix them myself. If they do i'll be an evangelist for peugot and sing their praises on high!!

Regards
