Hi

Well at last I got my replacement, last CC rejected after 14 months. I ordered it back in June, Aggy Blue with Black Leather. The dealer never said anything but I expected it to be an allure model, which it is.

1st of all got to say how much better the car looks fully colour coded imo, I have aslo added the front lower sports grill.

Differences I have noticed over the 02 model:

Colour coded
Different rear lights
Chrome surround dials instead of silver.
Seats go back 1/2 - 1 less notch than before (is this to cure the locking seat problem?)
The fit around the roof, windows, and door frames seems a lot better.
Seals around windows (Door frame) have a much rougher texture/feel to em (reduced noise as roof moves against window?).
Different and louder audible warnings, i.e. when lowering or raising roof.
Stringy thing in boot no longer there (looked like a light switch cord that could be pulled).

The whole car also feels like it has been put together better, but then again I think my last one came out at 4.30pm on a Friday afternoon.

The car has 2 Allure badges, either side on the front wings near the side repeaters. There is no mention of it being an Allure model in any of the hand books or the vehicle registration documents.

On collection of the vehicle the dealership also offered to remove the Allure badges when I next have it in, hopefully no sooner than the 6k service :)

I have only done 150 miles so far (picked it up Sept 1st) so fingers crossed I have not got another lemon, but all in all I am happy with my CC (at last).

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Now time to start modding............

Regards

PS Just for matter of interest my old CC is going back up for sale at the dealership that originally sold it to me (thought it might dissapear into the trade). One of the sales people I spoke to did not seem over the moon about having to sell it on again.
Cheers

Hi

Have added it to teh rejection section.

Feel sorry for poor soul who buys it, even worst if they buy it and then find it listed in the Rejected section.

Thanks
