Idling

Post by Ashley Saul »

Hi Ian,
I have a 206cc 2.0L 2006. In the morning the car is idling with a jerky motion. I do have a cat fouler in, but have not changed the CO2 censors. 388000Km
Could you or any one ells have a solution.

Regards

When was the last time you changed the spark plugs?

Maybe check for build up on the Throttle Body also. I found my idling better after giving it a clean last year.

Hi,
I want to clean my throttle body.
How do I remove Air Hose #5?
Is there a hose clamp #71 that I cannot see?
Cheers,
Iain.

It was just a jubilee clip holding mine on, so a small socket wrench to release & then it pulled off.

Where is the head of the jubilee clip?
If the front of the car is North. Where is the head of the jubilee? West side is open to see but only see the band.
Cheers,
Iain.

As you look at the throttle cover, feel or look on the right hand side, u will see a round hole for a screw driver to fit in.
