Major hesitation when starting off

Post by nzpug »

Does anyone know what might be causing a 2005 206cc to hesitate when you first drive off (like its about to stall, and you have to rev hard to keep going)?

Seems to go ok just driving around at higher revs

Heres a shot of the pre-cat o2 sensor - its never been replaced (no check engine light has come on) - could possibly be a cause but i would have thought an engine light wouldve come on if it was faulty

Maybe it just needs an italian tune up

Could be a problem with the motorised throttle or the accelerator pedal, depending on which engine you have.

Hi,
Does the engine feel like its running rough as a badgers bottom and it's going to break the engine mounts? i.e running on less than four?
Cheers,
Iain.
