Wheels for a 206cc ?

Post by Rickyb62 »

Recently purchased a 05 plate 206cc, and appears wheels have been changed by previous owner and are low profile 205/40/R17, and were painted black that is now in poor condition. To have wheels refurbished is expensive and low profile is not a comfortable ride.

Do the alloy wheels of other Peugeot such as 307 with wheels size such as 205/55/R16 fit the 206cc as looking to buy replacement alloys on eBay and seems to be more 307 available and better quality than 206?

You'll need to check the pcd (stud spacing) and offset (the ET number). If the offset is too much inwards they can run on the suspension or if outwards the arches when you turn.

I'm not sure about the 307 but the 306 wheels weren't all ok.

There's also a wheel with no removable centre cap ... they are almost impossible to balance.

Many thanks for all feedback and suggestions. I purchased a set of 205/45/16 silver alloys on eBay for a reasonable price. Will now be selling the 205/40/17 black alloys that were on the car when I purchased it, but appears to have been on the car since at least 2007.
